A grand collaboration is happening as Primetime King Coco Martin joins another hit ABS-CBN series, “Pamilya Sagrado” led by Piolo Pascual, to direct a few action scenes.

In an interview with “TV Patrol,” Coco shared that he and his “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” team are honored to collaborate with “Pamilya Sagrado,” since the family drama is gearing up for a big and explosive action scene.

“Nandito kami para sumuporta at tumulong. Isang malaking karangalan na ma-direk sina kuya PJ [Piolo Pascual] at ang lahat ng mga veteran actor,” said Coco as he was also shown directing a scene that included Piolo, John Arcilla, and Shaina Magdayao.

Despite his expertise in directing his hit action shows such as “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” Coco admitted that it was challenging for him this time around because he wants to change the style and execution of some action scenes.

“Honestly nai-stress ako ngayon pero kinakaya naman kasi na-excite kami dahil ang ganda ng i-storya. Binibigay namin ‘yung pinaka-best namin,” he added.

This is also a new experience for Coco since this is his first time directing an action TV series where he is not one of the artists.

“Kadalasan lahat ng show ko, dahil ako ang artista, ako rin ang nagdi-direk. Ngayon naman, ang sarap lang sa pakiramdam na naka-focus ako sa pagdi-direk,” shared Coco.

With the collaboration of the “Batang Quiapo” and “Pamilya Sagrado” teams, viewers can expect a more intense and action-packed series. Recently, the two shows achieved record-breaking online views on Kapamilya Online Live last August 7 where “Batang Quiapo” hit 659,229 peak concurrent views, while “Pamilya Sagrado” hit 642,170 peak concurrent views.

Watch out for the intense action scenes in “Pamilya Sagrado” weeknights at 8:45 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Online Live, and TFC. The series also streams 48 hours before its TV broadcast on iWantTFC.
