– Sesame seeds
– Cooking oil
Procedure :
– Spread some ube jam (size of the saging na saba) on the lumpia wrapper.
– Get the half of saging na saba and spread ube jam on top. Place it on the lumpia wrapper where you spread the jam.
– Wrap it, seal it with a little water.
– On a frying pan, put some cooking oil.
– Once the cooking oil is hot, start frying the turon de ube.
– Once the turon starts cooking and turns light brown, sprinkle red sugar or segunda on both sides.
– When the sugar starts to coat the turon, sprinkle some sesame seeds until the turon turns golden brown.
– When you smell the fried sesame seeds, you may already get the turon and start plating.
